Chiropractic is the largest drug-free medical profession in Canada. Chiropractors maintain and restore the mechanics of the spinal system. The correction of misalignments in the spine, which interfere with nervous system function, has been shown to commonly relieve many symptoms such as headaches, or back/neck pain. It provides a safe, non-invasive alternative or complementary addition to other treatments.
Our Chiropractor, Dr. Nam Nguyen, brings over a decade of experience to Advanced Therapeutic Wellness. He is also well versed in other techniques such as Applied Kinesiology, Diversified and Sacro Occipital Technique. This base of knowledge coupled with an ever curious mind allows Dr. Nguyen to effectively address a wide variety of conditions.

We take a holistic view of the body. Very often health care practictioners will solely address the site of pain or dysfunction. We recognize that the body works together as a cohesive unit and influences from remote parts of the body can have a negative impact. For example, an ankle instability will change how you stand and how you walk, which may lead to hip pain. Neglecting to check the whole body may lead to delayed improvement or recurring issues.
We not only address the structural components of your problem but also recognize there may be a chemical (diet,environmental) and mental/emotional (stress) influence. By taking into account all of these factors we are able to effectively resolve your health concerns in the least amount of time.
Chiropractic is most commonly known for effectively treating conditions arising from the spine such as low back and neck pain. However, through correcting misalignments in the spine and reducing interference on the nerves, chiropractic care can relieve conditions such as:

This is difficult to answer in that no two people are alike. Two people with the exact same dysfunction will respond differently. Many factors come into play here including, age, fitness, diet, sleep habits, arthritis, job etc. This will be discussed on a case to case basis.
We treat people of all ages, from infants to the elderly. Regardless if you are in pain or simply would like to have more energy in your daily life, Dr. Nguyen specifically tailors each treatment to address your individual needs.
If you have insurance, you pay for the treatment upon the time of service. You will then be given a paid invoice to submit to your insurance carrier. Most carriers provide some form of chiropractic coverage.

Relaxing & restorative. You can still receive a partial body massage for urgent concerns, injuries/pain. - Full Body In-depth Massage: 75 min — $141.55
Very restorative & relaxing massage. Effectively increases circulation/flexibility, decreases pain. - Full Body Deluxe Massage: 90 min — $159.25

Includes case history of your health/injuries, an assessment, report of findings, initial chiropractic treatment. You could qualify if participating in some form of studies. - Student Follow-up Treatment: 30 min — $55

Our Cancellation, Missed Appointment and Rescheduling Policy: As a courtesy to other clients and our therapists, 24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations and schedule changes. This helps to ensure that clients who require an appointment are able to access one. If notice isn’t given within 24 hours, half of the original treatment fee will be charged for appointments cancelled, missed or rescheduled. Thank you for your understanding.
